The summer camp model is the most intensive version of the Wildlife Neighbors program. Over the course of a week-long camp this summer (2022) participants will be guided through the curriculum and will receive plenty of hands-on support from program staff. They will come away with a rigorous understanding of the scientific process and how research is conducted in the field.
We would love to hear from you! Contact us if you have any questions or would like to discuss collaborating on the Wildlife Neighbors program.
The Applied Wildlife Ecology (AWE) Lab is a diverse team with a passion for carnivores, conservation, and community. Our work focuses on the relationship between carnivores, their prey, and the ever changing environment. At the AWE Lab, we believe that authentic, rigorous research can only be accomplished with the involvement and support of the community.
